Dr. John Soss leads the Fox School's Professional Masters programs in Investment Management (MSIM), Financial Engineering (MSFE) and Financial Analysis and Risk Management (MSFA-RM). Dr. Soss joined Fox following a dynamic investment banking career in New York and London, including managing derivatives franchise business in North America, Europe and Asia. Additionally, his professional background includes spearheading specialized structured finance and quantitative research teams. Dr. Soss received his Ph.D. in Finance from Northwestern University.

7. Collaborative Creativity with London Business School
London Business School is organising a talk about creativity in education. Our speaker will be Mr Titus Yong – a fellow DUAL member and a Harvard graduate in education & psychology, as well as an adjunct faculty member at SMU. He is a passionate educator who founded Ingenio, an enterprise that develops interactive technology and innovative programmes. Titus will share about multiple intelligences, learning styles of children with special educational needs, and practical tips on how to foster ingenuity. (I've seen this talk and it's really interesting which is why I asked him to do it for us)
The event will be held at ReDot Fine Art Gallery http://www.redotgallery.com, an Aboriginal art gallery. This morning session will include a quick intro to the symbols of Aboriginal art and a painting session for the kids who come along while the adults attend the talk by Titus. 11. ICAAS Trip to Pulau Semakau

A rubbish dumping ground, the island of Pulau Semakau receives some 2,200 tonnes
of incinerated ash and non-incinerated building debris. Much of the mangrove
swamp is now thriving and flourishing with the return of living things including
birds. The date and time of event have not been finalised yet and they is
subject to change closer to the date. Imperial College alumni and members of the
Distinguished Universities Alumni League will get a guided tour of the island.
